Why am I getting slight facial hair:I'm a girl!?

I am 18 and I always had a little hair on my upper lip but in the last few months I started getting it on my chin and today I looked in the mirror and I was standing by the window so everything showed up and I have random black hairs on my cheeks. I cant understand this because I have light hair and really fair skin , could it be hormones or something even though I haven't done anything different recently.

Hey, whatever u do just don't use twisers.. u could try to bleach it.. or simply; go to a beauty shop %26amp; let them work it out for u; they'll probably wax it off, n i guess if its facial hairs it won't come back again, at least that's what i know...

If it's that noticeable, ask your doctor. It could be a hormone imbalance. I know that sounds embarrassing but apparently its quite common.

i think you might have period problems. like your period comes later or earlier than the day it supposed.meaning i the circulation if interrupted/get docs help.

It's normal to get hair!!!! If you've been shaving for some reason then that might be the problem or if you wax your face. Just don't worry, it's natural!!! If it bothers you that badly, bleach them.

I am fair skinned and I have the same thing i get dark hairs on my chin and neck and the sides of my face. I assume they are probably from scar tissue from acne. I just pluck them out. I know it makes it worse, but I would rather have to pluck them then have nasty random black hairs on my face. Don't worry everything is fine. Just grab your tweezers and get rid of them. You can always go to a salon and have your face waxed but I find it easier to do it myself

It sounds like your hormones are overactive. Go to your doctor and have him or her check it out. If it is a hormone problem then it is very easily treated with medication.

welcome to women-hood. yeah now you get to play with all the other big girls. why do you think that they have lip waxing everywhere..it's natural and yes it is hormonal. you did nothing wrong it's just natures nasty little joke on all of us. pluck em it last longer and it's cheaper. unless you have a beard, then i would say wax but i seriously doubt you do.
