Does shaving help facial hair grow in thicker?

i have a moustache and chinny that come in thick, but im trying to grow a goatee and the hair in between is quite coming. i thought that by shaving what is there each week, it might grow in thick enough.

will this work or am i just wasting my time?

yes it does. but at one point you will grow tired of this and wished you would have never shaved that comfortable baby hairs.

This should work. Just keep shaving it and eventually it will start to grow in thicker. This is what I do and every guy I've talked to does.

i think it does. when i was around 13 or 14 i had to start shaving my mustache for football. my dad always said dont shave anything else or itll start to grow in. i didnt listen and shaved around where my sideburns will be. sure enough a week later i saw some stubblies come in. but it could also do with if you are a hairy guy. i know alot of guys that dont have to shave at all.

It does work. Just not overnight. Give it more time and keep shaving and it will get thicker.
