Does anyone know if bleaching facial hair is harsh on the face?Is threading any better? Any Redness

I am just curious as to which treatment is the gentlest on the face, and causes finer hair to re-appear? I have heard that bleach strips the skin off! Is there any truth in this? I have bleached my face before-about once a month, and have had good effects, but im now worried about the effects of chemicals on my skin. But im scared to get it threaded in case I get loads of spots and redness and thicker re-growth.

geez how much hair do you have that this is a worry? I get my eyebrows threaded all the time and it's great, better than plucking or even waxing.

Most procedures cause some reddening or irritation especially if you have sensitive skin. Always best to do a test patch several days before you want it done. Also undertake it at least 2 days before your night out to allow it to settle!!

Go and see a Doctor of Medicine. He or she will give you the best advice. Don't try self-medication - you could scar yourself for life.

My wife has a little mole (non-malignant) on her cheek, and this grows hair that she snips off with scissors. She had it when I first met her. This did not put me off her - it is simply a personal idiosyncrasy that is a lovable part of a very lovable woman.
