Facial hair removal...?

I am going to enter high school next year and I just simply want to look presentable.

I was thinking of waxing my eyebrow (yes, no mistake in spelling), and buying an epilator for the rest and what do you call it...maintaining it.

And am a bit frightened at how the hair will grow back and such matters so if you could please help on what may be the best ways to get rid of it and the outcome?

Though I am not completely positive, all of you are mature enough not to make any rude remarks and waste my time.

Now, the hard part is done - convincing the parents. Oh the joy.

Actually, finding a beauty salon that has been in business for a long time is your best bet...they are very experienced and you may say oh the ladies are old, what do they know? they know plenty.....and they will suggest different types of styles for your brow's...keeping up on appearances is a full time job..but worth it..and as for the hair on your face? Check out a dermatologist, you may only have to go twice a year...for less than a hundred dollars you could loose you insecurities and find keeping yourself together is much more important than going to a party or taking on a fad look that doesn't enhance a look, it only gives you something to get over...good luck...

Have you thought about going to a salon for waxing? A lot of people have one brow thicker than the other, so they'll have experience dealing with this

Definately have it waxed but nix the epilator thing. The hurt to bad to use. Just get it waxed abot twice a month an you should be good. Price is usually minimal and pain is not bad either. Hope high School is a blast.

for facial hair... the best thing to use is sally hansen microwavable wax. u don't need strips and it doesn't make a sticky mess like most of the others do. u put it in the microwave for a minute then u spread it on and press it down then rip it off lol i know it sounds painful, and it is till u get used to it.

just BE CAREFUL!!! especially in the eyebrow area... u don't wanna take off too much, so go slowly, do only a very small bit at a time, and use the guards that comes with the wax. u don't want something drastic that makes u look total different. and remember, only wax the underside of the brow, never the top.

this wax also works great for sideburns and upper lip if u need it there.

waxing is good... i wax my eyebroews... to kkep it up.. just keep getten them waxed... or pluck! lol i preffer waxing! and the great thing is..their is no pain...!

Lots of hair salons do eyebrow waxing. It's cheap like $10 or less. If you have the unibrow, that's a good idea and your parents aren't likely to object. I wax, pluck for maintenance. But I also have my brows threaded, which creates a more precise eyebrow.

I've been doing it for YEARS myself. But if you're a newbie, it could be awkward and pinch. Sally Hansen makes a home wax kit. It consists of peel off strips that are fairly easy to use. And you can get them at any grocery store.

Best,

G

waxing comes out cleaner than plucking. but i pluck. but pluck is also a longer process where waxing is just like ripping a bandaid. depends on your pain tolerance ishh

There's nothing wrong with waxing the eyebrows. I go to a salon and get mines done. It's not even painful! There are also some at home waxing products you can use too.
