Waxing facial hair?

If you wax the hair on your lip for the first time, will it grow back darker? The hairs weren't that dark to begin with, just the slightest shade. Now i don't like how my skin feels.

Hair does not grow back thicker from any type of hair removal.

It may feel as if they have for a number of reasons, the main one being that you got used to not having the hair, and all of a sudden you feel it again. Also, you could have developed some clogged pores as a result of the hairs being removed from the follicle, which could be giving your skin a rougher texture than you're used to. Use a gentle exfoliant (or a product called PFB or TendSkin, available from most salons that offer waxing) and a non-comedogenic moisturizer and hopefully that will help.

Hair does not come back any thicker or darker when you shave (or wax) it, that is just an old wives' tale.

Since you waxed off your facial hair you also tore off some of your skin in the process, you should buy some cream and an exfoliator that will deeply nourish your skin and remove any dead skin cells to make your skin feel nice once more. Hoped this helped and best of luck!
