Question about facial hair shaving?
It's actually a myth that shaving makes your beard grow in thicker. It just makes it all one length so it only appears to be thicker. Just shave everything, but do it the right way.
You always want to shave in the right direction. Always go with the grain of the hair. You don't want to pull it or irritate your hair follicles. That gives you "razor burn" or little red rash marks on your face. In other words, shave in a downward motion from the upper cheeks all the way down to the line in the middle of your neck near the Adams apple. Once you get there you need to shave the lower part of your neck in an upward motion.
When finished, use a moisturizing lotion that has a little bit of numbing effect so it's all painless and smooth. Something like Axe aftershave lotion.

Question about facial hair shaving?
I"m 31 now and I've been shaving my cheeks since I was 16. They still have not filled in all the way. I do have a very full goatee and some big patches of hair on my cheeks. So I sincerely doubt that shaving more than what is necessary will make any difference at all.
