I know the question is asked time and time again, but I haven't found something I can use effeciently.
I have been shaving for many years now on my face and it's gotten to the point where it's almost useless. I have to do it every morning and the hair is still noticable even after. It's more like a stubble, but you can actually see that I have shaved. Embarrassing!!!! I can not afford electrolysis, waxing doesn't work because the hair is so short already (I've tried anyways) What can I possibly do? I know I should quit shaving, but if I don't shave, the hair is SO noticable. I need a whole lot of help on this one, anything at all. Please.

I agree with natbug, that you HAVE TO STOP shaving. Shaving the hair on your face is a big No-No! I know it is hard, but resist the urge! It will not help and will only cause ingrown hairs, and stubble and cause the hair to grow back coarser. You don't want that.
Try threading. I used to wax my facial hair, but it was so messy and dirty and caused me to break out at times. Threading is incredibly clean, fast and the results are so much better.
Threading is also inexpensive. You can usually find Middle Eastern or Indian salons that do this. Depending on where you live, it can run from entire face of $20-$40.
I am a big advocate of threading, and the hair will, in time, grow back finer and slower. I myself, like you, used to shave, and my facial hair would grow back so thick and dark. Ever since I started to wax (intially) then thread, my hair growth has been finer and much slower.
it is a process to wait it out, but please, i think the best bet for you right now is to stop shaving and try waxing or threading. You will see a difference in time.
here are some sites on it:

and here is a site for this product that is reported to mimic threading - never tried it, but worth a look: http://www.threading-hair-removal.com/
Good Luck!

Why not try the Nair products, they have facial hair removal kits! Or i know Avon and things offer products that supposedly get rid of that sort of thing... if you havent tried that already? I have also seen this little face trimmer thing which i heard works very well

YOU HAVE TO STOP SHAVING. That just cuts the hair at the skin's surface and leaves obvious stubble that will grow right back in no time. You should try hair lightening bleach (from Sally's, WalMart, etc.) to at least lighten what is growing back in to make it less noticable until it is long enough to wax or tweeze (I'm not sure of the thickness, so tweezing may be too time-consuming). I'd recommend going to a salon for the first time and getting good wax job and a professional opinion about what further steps to take. Good luck!
