Facial hair causes and treatment?

I had a bunch of blood drawn last week to see if I have to much testosterone or polycystic ovary syndrome. If it is to much testosterone the doctor said that I could take a medication that is a diuretic to get rid of the extra testosterone. Has anyone else ever heard of this and does it work? I was also wondering if there is any treatment if I have PCOS to get rid of the hair. I'm hoping it's not PCOS because my husband and I have just started trying to conceive and I know it can make that difficult.

I've heard that you can take certain herbs to balance your hormones. Agnus castus is one (comes in a bottle labelled as Vitex) and the other is evening primrose oil. You can try looking upon the internet for other herbs that might help.

I also learned that it's better to stay away from things with refined sugar it it (like desserts and candy). I find that facial hair may be a sign of the body's inability to digest these kinds of foods properly and it's better to stick to raw fruits and vegetables that is easy for it to digest. I'm on a raw food diet right now and I find that if I have any candy, stray hairs start coming out of my chin lol So that's how I figured that out.

It is caused by hormones as you already know and maybe you should try lazer treatments for permanent hair removal.
